Leader Meat Packing Corp. is a growing meat processing and packaging company specializing in fresh, vacuum-packed, and ready-to-eat meat products. We supply supermarkets, restaurants, and distributors across the region. We are looking for a reliable and safety-focused Driver to join our logistics team and ensure timely deliveries of our meat products to our valued customers.
Position Summary
The Delivery Driver is responsible for safely transporting meat and meat products to customers, ensuring products are delivered in excellent condition while following all food safety, USDA, and company handling requirements.
Responsibilities
• Operate company delivery trucks (refrigerated/refer trucks and vans) in a safe and
professional manner.
• Load and unload meat products with proper handling to maintain product integrity and
food safety standards.
• Ensure delivery schedules are met and routes are completed efficiently.
• Verify and document delivery orders, invoices, and customer signatures.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness, and report maintenance issues.
• Follow DOT, USDA, and company safety policies at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, acting as a professional representative of the company.
Requirements
• Valid New Jersey Driver’s License (CDL preferred but not required for smaller trucks).
• Clean driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to lift 50–75 lbs and operate pallet jacks or hand trucks.
• Experience driving refrigerated trucks and handling perishable goods preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Flexibility for early morning shifts and occasional weekends.
